Finally some decent weather!!!

I think everyone is finally ready for some decent weather, although it could be a little nicer!!! I finally got my kids out and got some pictures of them! Thanks to my friend Chanelle for letting me borrower her insanly cute chair!! She finds such great things!! And thanks to Tracy who helped me unload it at our stops and for the funny faces to make the kids cooperate!!!

I love this on because they are totally 100% themselves, Peyton goofing off & Alivia smiling!!

Peyton loves basketball especially watching it with Tracy!! He will sit through a game and learn all the guys names and cheer really loud!!

We went to the game this Monday and Peyton loved it!!

Alivia's Special Day

We blessed Alivia last Sunday. It was a great day! Tracy did an awesome job! We had lots of family come and had fun afterwards! I just can't believe she is 3 months already!! I really wish time would freeze. Although it is fun seeing her grow and change so much, I really wish they would stay small for longer. She is such a good baby, so content and sleeps at least 10 hours everynight. She is always happy and smiling. She loves Tracy. When he comes home she is so giggly and smiles the whole night!! Peyton is the best with her, since he's been sick this last week we keep telling him not to kiss her, he told me yesterday I want to get better so I can kiss her. He is great with her. I feel really blessed to have 2 great kids!!

I have decided it is really sad that time goes by so fast!!! I swear it seems like yesterday she was born. She is seriously the best baby!! She is always happy, escpecially when she see's Peyton. She loves him!! The other day she watched him play the wii for over an hour, and smiled the whole time!! She has been sick this week, which their first sickness always breaks my heart. But she has been so happy through it! And sleeps from 10 to 6 everynight, and sometimes longer!! She is wonderful!! I can't forget Peyton, he is wonderful too!! Never any jealousy, and is always so willing to help me and always gives plenty of kisses to his sister, sometimes too many!! I really feel blessed to have great kids!!

Alivia Ella McKay is here. She arrived just after 6 p.m. December 4th!! Weighing 6lbs. 8oz. She is so beautiful and fun!! She is a really good baby!! And she has the best big brother!! I was a little worried how Peyton would react! But he is wonderful!! He is my best helper. We couldn't be more happy!!! My wonderful neighbor and friend took some pics for me the other day!! THANKS Eileen, your the best!!! I'm only posting a few but it was hard to choose I love them all!!

Our Trip to Disney World

We had a great time in Florida this year!! We went to Disney world, and a bunch of other parks!! It was really fun! Peyton loved it, and won't stop talking about it everyday!! He loved Splash Mountain and Pirates!!

This picture cracks me up!! It is in front of a huge Guitar, The Aerosmith roller coaster!! He is obsessed with guitars!!!

It was so cute Mickey was scuba diving in the big aquariums they had at the Nemo exhibit!!

I have decided everytime we take Peyton to do some sport, he ends up being better than us!!! It is pathetic!! We went down to Salt Lake for a fun weekend and decided to go minature golfing, he was really good, even getting a hole in one!! Of course he cheated a little, putting the ball right by the hole and getting excited when it would go in!! But he could hit the ball better than we could!! It made me look pathetic!!

It's a Girl!!!

I figured I better post for those who don't know we are expecting another baby the first of December!! We just found out it is a girl! We are really excited. I had to ask the ultrasound lady several times if she was sure, because we were both betting it was going to be a boy!! When I told Peyton he said, "Oh no, I don't like girls." But now he is very excited. He will be the BEST big brother!! It's just crazy to think girl stuff, it's all boy at my house. I showed Peyton pictures of the ultrasound, he asked "Where's her bottle?" And the best one yet, "Why did you swallow the baby in your belly?" I just love what kids say!!

Fun at Lagoon

We decided for the 4th we would take Peyton to lagoon. We went with my parents. It was lots of fun!!! I think it is so much funner when you take your kids, then it is when you are a kid. Just to see them having so much fun and loving every minute of it!! It was not that crowded either!! It was a great day!! Our favorite ride was the flying aces!!!

Bowling Fun

Yes! This is Tracy and Peyton's favorite thing to do! And yes it is sad but Tracy and my 3 year old beat me!! How pathetic I know! Tracy really likes to go bowling, is really good at it and always wins, except for our first date! Yes I beat him!! And still remind him of it often. He said he let me win so we could go out again, but I am not buying it.

Roasting some Smarshmallows

The other night we just had to roast (according to Peyton) Smarshmallows. We got a fire pit, which is really fun if you can handle the smell of bonfire all over your clothes. I think all kids just love fire, or maybe it's just Peyton, but if fire is involved he is wanting to watch. It was nice to have some warmth on these chilly nights. I really hope it's not just me praying for warm weather!!!!

Our nice little getaway

Tracy and I went to Pheonix for a nice long weekend. I am sure as parents you realize how nice a little break is. It was 97 and so nice and sunny. We just hung out, ate great food, and went and watched the Suns, Spurs game. Tracy is a big Spurs fan. But the Suns killed the Spurs!! It was still fun though! It is always so nice to get back, I really missed Peyton, but it was a great little break! Sorry it was so relaxing I didn't even bring my camera!!

Yesterday was Peyton's birthday! The BIG 3!! I can't believe he is already 3, it goes by way too fast. He got a john deere gator to ride around. And is obsessed with it. He has ran it into everything, fence, truck curb, you name it. We had a little family party for him last night! These are his cousins all in the gator!!

It has been a crazy last few weeks. I am really happy it has warmed up, I just wish it would warm up for good! I really have been into photography lately. It is such a fun little hobby. I still have so much to learn, but I do have quite the cute little assistant, towards the end he is always telling me, "Mom your camera is driving me nuts."

But I know deep down somewhere he loves it!

I have had a great week this week! Peyton has gone potty with no accidents for several days! It has been so nice, and yeah no more diapers!!! For Valentines Tracy gave me a professional camera! I am loving it already! Today I took Peyton down to the railroad tracks and took some pictures!!

Ice Skating

I decided I miss ice skating, so I thought I would take Peyton and go. He liked it until he kept falling, so I pushed him around a lot on the chair. After we were done, he said "I'm such a good ice skater." It was funny, he was so proud of himself. I was proud of him too! For his first time he had fun!

Like so many of you, I really felt like I should pay tribute to President Hinckley. What a great man, and prophet he was. I will forever be grateful for his sweet spirit and love about him. I was talking to Peyton about it today, and it was crazy because he asked me "Is he happy." I couldn't help but tear up. I'm sure we all can say he is so happy right now. Being with his sweet wife and all his loved ones. I am so grateful for him strengthening my testimony. I know we are all going to miss him, but we all know that he is home and happy!

Peyton's Little Accident

The day after Christmas Peyton tripped on our hardwood floor, he cried but didn't seem really hurt. We went to the Jazz game that night, and next day didn't use it much but seemed okay. I just figured maybe it got bruised, but there was no swelling or anything!! Then today he fell on it barely, and cried for a long time. So I decided to take him to the doctor, they did some x-rays and found out he broke both bones in his right arm. Poor little guy!!! I felt bad, for the last few days he has had a broken arm. So he got a cast today, and of course he had to have blue! We got out of the doctors office and he told us, "That was the coolest doctor." He actually likes the doctors, don't ask me why. He doesn't seem to mind the cast yet, but I know that will change! At least he is okay and it will heal good! I guess I can say I am just glad I took him in!!!

Our Basement Pretty Much Complete

Yes, I am still here, I have been really busy these last few weeks, basement, Christmas, everything!!! We are pretty much done with the basement, few things here and there, but we are loving it. Peyton loves his playroom, and I love my craftroom/office. I spend way too much time in it!! It has been nice though!!

My New Best Friend is my vinyl cutter. Tracy got it for me for Christmas, I have been making fun things, and doing lots for other people!!! Tracy has been so good to do so many things for me lately, even with his busy work schedule!! He did the whole basement himself, he did a great job!! He is the best husband, THANKS TRACE!!!!!

Yes Peyton picked out all his colors for his playroom, we had to have blue, orange, green, and red. It worried me at first, but it turned out fun!!

We Love Fall

I just love fall! I love the colors and the Holidays! We have been having awesome weather this year too! The other day Peyton helped me rake all the leaves! And yes we have lots and lots of them because of our fruit trees!! And of course he got lots of his toys and burried them in the leaves, and said he was going to hunt for his treasures. Peyton just had to be a pirate! So I found the Jack Sparrow costume. Everyone kept saying "oh your a pirate," and he would say, "No, Jack Sparrow." He had lots of fun, we just went around the neighborhood and to grandma and grandpa's Houses! It was the first year he really enjoyed it!! And of course we had to go show everyone at Tracy's work!!! Especially the "Hola's" in at work. He calls the hispanic workers, "The Hola's." We had lots of fun!!!!
